It has been a busy term for the children with lots to do. We have been exploring the weather, when it was very cold and very warm, writing and making marks in the frost. and playing out inthe beautiful sunshine. We have celebrated Scots, learning lots of new words. We have been over to the Pump Track and watched the men building it using lots of different equipment and we talked about the safety aspects of the track and the building site. We have been exploring maths using lots of different resources both inside and outside. Lots of us were interested in feeding and caring for the birds .
We have had lots of visitors this term, Miss McLaughlin came to tell us all about being a teacher, Mr Manderson came to talk about being a police officer, Mr Fish came and told us all about his job a fireman and showed us all the things he need to fight fires. We have visited the Post Office and learned about the things we can do there
Mrs Bradley came and did lots of singing and musical instruments with us and Mrs Campbell from primary 5 came and showed us how to make finger patterns, look at dot patterns and how numbers looked “altogether”.
We have had a visit from the baby chicks and have made pizza with our student Miss Davis. The fairies have left us a beautiful door in the garden and we have been chilling and practicing our cosmic yoga.
To end the term we had a pajama day and we watched dvds and helped to raise money for the school in Magale.
We would like to thank you for all your support this term and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 23rd April for the new term
Have a great holiday!!
