We’re sure that most of you came to the P7 assembly and have perhaps watched the Sainsbury Christmas advert. You may well know some of the history of the Christmas Truce.
In the first months of the First World War, soldiers fighting in the trenches around Ypres held a truce. Over the Christmas period they set aside their weapons and met in ‘No-man’s Land’. Some of them played football.
Today, P7 took part in a football tournament to remember and feel part of the First World War Centenary.
