Coffee, tea, cake and juice to be had and there are crafts and toys for younger children.

Thanks, Sarah-jane

Parent Craft Club Returns this Friday

Our Friday parent craft club returns this week from 11 to 12:10. This week we are going to be discussing what we would like to explore in the autumn and winter terms with the Christmas fayre in mind. Everyone is welcome, there are toys and crafts for wee ones along with tea, coffee, juice and cake.

Come along for meeting and spending time with friends, enjoy some knitting, sewing, crochet, decoupage and  jewellery making amongst other things. We all enjoy giving it a go regardless of whether we have tried it before.

Please complete the Parent Council’s short survey

PUSCPS Parent Council Logo

Hello parents / carers.
Members of the Parent Council (PC) are currently considering how we can improve the effectiveness and impact of the PC. We recognise that there is much that can be achieved when we work together with the school and parents, and we want to build on this. To do this, we need a clear work plan and to create opportunities for, and support parent involvement. So, we’ve put together a questionnaire to gather your views – which we hope will give us some direction and a sense of how parents would like to be involved. It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.  You can access the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PUCPSParentSurvey
If you would prefer to receive a paper copy of the survey to complete, please request a copy via email.
Once we have received your answers, we’ll let you know the priorities we’ll be focussing on throughout the school year and the next steps for your chosen level of involvement.
Thank you in advance for completing the survey.
Best wishes from
“The Parent Council”

Parent Council

Thank you to those that came along to our parent council meet last night. We had 5 parents turn out along with Miss Morrison and myself.  We discussed what a Parent Council is for and what we could do to engage with more parents.

The Parent Council will be taking some of their ideas forward over the next weeks so please, look out for this information and consider how you can contribute to your child’s schooling.

Parent Council – Wednesday 23 March 6:30pm

PUSCPS Parent Council LogoThe Parent Council is first and foremost a forum for discussion.  It is organised and run by parents and parents take on roles of Chair, Secretary, etc.  Parents/carers are welcome to come and be involved.  It is important that we are all involved in discussing the work of the school.
Parent Council Meetings are approximately every six weeks and are informal and open.  If you have anything you would wish to discuss these can be shared with the Parent Council by email – (parent.council1@aol.com) and can be added to the agenda.
If you are interested in taking part the next meeting is on Wednesday 23rd March at 6:30pm.  We look forward to seeing some of you there.
