Tuesday – Reading, Numeracy Task, IDL, Loom pre-recorded lesson

Wednesday – Reading task, Numeracy Task, IDL, Video call at 10am

Sumdog challenges for Maths and Literacy.

Continue with IDL Spelling if you normally do this in school.

 

Thursday – Writing Task, Numeracy Task, HWB, Video call at 10am

Sumdog challenges for Maths and Literacy.

Friday – Free Writing Task, Numeracy Task, Together Time Activity

Continue with IDL Spelling if you normally do this in school.

 

Additional tasks: Try and find some time for personal reading and times table practice throughout the week. Also, try to get outside for some fresh air/exercise if you can.

Please remember that there is no pressure to complete everything, we would love to see you at the video call times.

Learning can be completed in homework jotters/paper and photos can be posted as a reply to the task or as a Word document, which can be uploaded to the relevant folder in the Files section.

Santa Visits PUSCPS!

A very exciting and magical afternoon at PUSCPS as Santa visited our children, from a distance. The children all wished him a Merry Christmas and asked him some questions. He reminded us to go to bed early on Christmas Eve. Thank you Santa for taking time to visit us at this very busy time for you.

Be an Author – Book Week Scotland Competition

Last week we set all classes a free writing competition inviting them to create a piece of writing on any theme or in any style for Book Week Scotland.

Our house and vice captains had the difficult job of judging the competition this week.

P1-P4/3 created theirs on paper, and P4-7 uploaded theirs to Teams.

PUSCPS Christmas Countdown 2020

Please see below a list of the ways we hope to celebrate the festive period with our children. Staff and the Parent Partners have brainstormed ways we can safely celebrate in our class bubbles and raise some money for school funds (instead of our Christmas Fayre).
We would request that children come to school dressed for their class Christmas Celebration rather than go home at lunch time to change into their party clothes.
I am sure you will agree we have managed to still plan lots of exciting opportunities to celebrate this festive period and our Christmas trees have gone up today!
