Visit My Class
Remember to come along to Visit My Class on Thursday. Session 1 will run from 6:00-6:25pm, and session 2 will run from 6:30 – 6:55pm, allowing you to visit 2 classes if you have more than one child at the school/ nursery.

Sum Dog Competition!
So far in the competition Amen in Primary 6 is 36 out of 24,340 pupils across Scotland.
Primary 6 are 102nd out of 980 classes.
Remember you can join in the competition at home up until Thursday.
Sum Dog Contest Begins!
The contest has started. All children can log in and take part in the contest at home as well as in school.
Primary 6 are currently 51st out of 790 classes across Scotland!
Living Our Values Assembly
Today our classes shared at assembly what are school values mean to them. There was presentations, posters and singing.
Thank you to the families who came along to join us, and the children and staff for their preparation for the assembly.

Primary 3
Primary 3 have been working hard to build their Class Community Contract!
We have been focusing on three key words to help us – Ready, Respectful and Safe. We (ourselves, Miss M and Mrs Ross) discussed what each word meant, brainstormed and drew pictures of what they would look like in school.
We also thought about which rights would link to each key word. Take a look at our superhero-themed contract below!

Our home learning tasks will begin on Monday 3rd September. Please see below for guidelines on home learning tasks.
Welcome Assembly!
On Friday we had our welcome back assembly. It was lovely to see our happy, smiley PUSCPS family back together. It was also fantastic to see every child wearing their school uniform, I would like to thank our families for their support with this.
We explored the value of positivity, which is our value of the month. Using emotion works we discussed:
- Emotion words: What other words do we use for positivity?
- Body sensations: How does our body feel when we are positive?
- Triggers: What makes us feel positive?
We also celebrated the achievement of some of our children who completed the Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge at Pumpherston Library. The challenge finishes at the end of August so there is still time to complete it.
