Primary 1 Class Charter
Primary 1 have talked about the rules we have in PUSCPS and how they link to some children’s rights. Our rules help us to be Safe, Ready and Respectful.
We talked about what Safe, Ready and Respectful look and sound like at school. We then designed our own star for a class display to show we agree.
Aldi’s Kit for School
Primary 6
This year, it was agreed each class charter would be made up of the same three words: Ready, Respectful and Safe. Primary 6 brainstormed in teams to think about what each might look like in school (and some outwith). We then illustrated some of our ideas for our class display.
We chose a Disney theme and made individual characters to ‘sign’ our charter with.
Check in with us soon to see what we have been learning!
Until then…

Primary 3 Class Charter
Primary 3 have been learning about children’s rights. They worked together to create a class charter with a list of rules that they all agree to follow to make sure everyone in the class has the right to learn, to be listened to and to be safe. Â To sign up to their charter, the class also created their own super pupils who will help everyone to learn and enjoy school.
House Captain Election 2019-20
Primary 7 were given the opportunity to run for House and Vice Captains. They were set the following challenge and the children who did not want to apply, supported their Pumpie Pals peers.
On Friday we had the election and it was very competitive as the presentations were excellent. It was obvious that all the children but a lot of time, effort and thought into what they wanted to say.
A huge well done to everyone who took part!
