Primary 3 Check-in

Good morning P3,

We hope you are enjoying the week so far and have been making the most of the sunshine! 🌞

Your learning activities for this week are listed below for you and there are two new Sumdog Challenges available too. Miss Burton has also set a Week 10 Challenge for everyone to complete.

Remember that if you don’t have access to a printer, you can complete all tasks on paper or in your jotter.

P3 Home Learning – Week beginning 25th May 2020

Good morning P3,

We hope you had a nice weekend.

Here is your Learning Board and resources for this week. There are lots of activities to keep you busy. You can record the answers to the learning tasks in your jotter or on the sheets listed if you are able to print them.

There are two challenges for you to complete on Sumdog. One for Literacy and one for Maths. Well done to everyone who entered the WL Sumdog competition last week – we are proud of how well you did!

If you usually do IDL spelling in class, remember to log into your account. (Details in Reading Records)

Remember that this week is also the West Lothian Sumdog Maths Contest. It finishes at 8pm tonight but there is still time to enter and take part. We have also set a short Literacy challenge on Sumdog for you too.

Hello Primary 2!

I hope you’ve had a nice week so far and managed some of the learning board tasks.

It’s been great receiving your messages and pictures about the activities you’ve been doing at home.  I would like to say a huge thank you to all our parents/carers who are supporting the children to access their home learning tasks. Here is your Learning Board and resources for this week. There are lots of activities to keep you busy! You can record the answers to learning tasks in your jotter or on the sheets listed if you are able to print them.

We have set you a short literacy challenge on Sumdog and we would also like everyone to enter the West Lothian Maths contest on Sumdog. It finishes at 8pm on Thursday 21st May. I can see some of you have entered already, well done! We need at least 10 children from P3 to enter to get a place on the leaderboard.

I hope you had a  lovely long weekend and are all safe and well.

As this is a shorter week, there is one less activity in each box.   Remember if you can’t print any of the worksheets, you can use your home learning jotter.  A wee reminder that the West Lothian sumdog contest is on this week!

Well done to Emily, Ty, Sara, James and Asia, who had the highest scores in the recent class time and doubles challenge on Sumdog. Super work!

Primary 1 Learning Grid 19.5.20 – 22.5.20

Good Morning Boys and Girls in Primary 1

We hope that you are all well and keeping fit and healthy.  The weather has been a little rainy this weekend but hopefully this has not stopped you from getting outside and enjoying the outdoors.  From your photos we can see that some of you have been out riding your bikes and others have gone on walks by the river with your families.  Wildlife is all around us and lots of birds are visiting our gardens -keep looking out for them and let us know what you see.

It is great to hear from you, so please keep sending us your photographs and emails.
