Nursery Go Pro
The nursery children were very excited to try out their new go pro camera! They will use this to record their learning to share with their peers and family.

Remembrance Day
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Poppy Appeal, we raised £71.15.
This year Miss Burton laid a school poppy wreath at the Pumpherston Memorial as the P7s were unable to due to restrictions.
Classes also marked Remembrance Day by having a 2 minute silence in class.
Primary 2/1
This week Primary 2/1 learned all about how to stay safe around fireworks and created firework pictures. We first looked at videos and pictures of fireworks and talked about the colours we could see. We then drew lines with wet chalk on black paper to recreate fireworks bursting in the sky.
Primary 4
Primary 4 have been making links between multiplication and division by using trio tricks to write multiplication and division fact families. They have also been attempting real life math problems as an extension task and on Friday they did their click challenge to use their numeracy skills to complete a variety of questions.

Primary 1 Firework Art
This week Primary 1 created firework pictures. We first looked at videos and pictures of fireworks and talked about the colours we could see. We then drew lines with coloured chalk on black paper to recreate fireworks bursting in the sky. 
Halloween @ PUSCPS
This year we celebrated Halloween at school! Due to all the restrictions we thought it would be a good idea to celebrate with their class. Look at all the strange and scary creatures who arrived at school on Friday!

P5 Fairy Creation
As part of their book focus the children are going to create their own fairy to take part in the Artemis Fowl book ‘Time to Believe’ which we are reading for their class novel.

The children were to draw a detailed picture of the fairy they would like to create. They were to experiment with a range of colours in their drawing to help to bring out their fairies features. Then they were to label their fairy to show what resources they would need to create a 3d model of their fairy.
