Primary 6 have been learning the art of paper folding and quilling in art this term. We used these techniques to create Spring images for our new class display. Here are some photos of our work, we hope you like it!

P1 Baby Chicks
Primary 1 have been very excited this week about the arrival of our chick eggs. 9 eggs arrived in their incubator on Monday. Nothing happened until Thursday when 6 chicks hatched! On Friday morning, another baby chick had arrived. So far we have 4 girls and 3 boys. We moved the chicks from the incubator into the brooder box this morning. We made sure to have fresh food and water ready for the chicks before we moved them.

Le Blog de P6
Bonjour! Today P6 learnt how to give and follow simple directions in French. We learnt how to say ‘go straight on’, ‘turn left’ and ‘turn right’. We then played a game of Hot and Cold in French; one pupil had to follow directions from the class in French to find a hidden object. We called out ‘chaud’ (hot) when they got close and ‘froid’ (cold) when they were far away. Unfortunately, technology let us down today so we don’t have a video but we will try to one for the blog another day!
We have a chick!
P3 have green fingers!
P3 had a lovely time this afternoon in our school garden with Sarah-Jayne.  We learned about 8 vegetable families. Each family’s vegetables grow and produce seeds in different ways from other families.
We prepared the planting beds, planted seeds and made sure they had water. We used our writing skills to label what we planted.
Hopefully we can go out again soon to check on things!
