Nursery learning to keep safe!

Over the last few weeks the nursery children have been learning about keeping themselves safe.  We initially began to talk about keeping ourselves safe at home, using talking boxes and photographs.  Over the last couple of weeks we have moved on to keeping ourselves safe outside.  We have used the ‘Let’s go safe with Ziggy!’ resource, a set of stories and videos which help us to learn about keeping safe in the car, and crossing the road.

Developing the Young Workforce Week – Call for Support!

At Pumpherston and Uphall Station Community Primary School, we are beginning to organise our Developing the Young Workforce Week on 22nd – 25th May 2018. Last year we had great support from our school community. This year again we are asking if any parents, carers or members of our community can support this valuable learning opportunity for our children, as we really need your support for this week to a success. If you can offer some of your time to come into school or make a video about your job or interest can you please fill out the form below.

Easter Service

Today we invited Rev. Povey and our families along to our Easter Service.

Our brass players played some tunes for us.

P1-3 and P4-7 sang songs.

Primary 4 and Rev. Povey told us about the Easter Story.

We recognised the winners for the Spring Family Learning Task, and every child who took part got 3 Dojo points.

We gave out the West Lothian Competition Sumdog Awards.

Look at our presentation below to see our Spring family learning task entries.
