It was announced that Rhona Ritchie, our outstanding and dedicated lollipop lady, has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours list.
What fantastic recognition of Rhona’s dedication to generations of Pupils from Pumpherston & Uphall Station over the last 40+ years. Well done Rhona, we’re all very proud of you.

Tomorrow afternoon at 1:15 we celebrate our Christmas assembly. Pupils from P1-P7 will sing a selection of Christmas songs which I’m sure you’ll want to join in with, and we will be joined by our chaplain, Mr Povey.
Remember that it is ‘dress down for fun’ so no money is required. We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at 1:15.

Our P1 pupils performed a fantastic nativity play “Wriggly Nativity” on Wednesday. The P2 and P3 pupils supported as the choir and they were great too.
Well done to all the boys and girls and thank you for the help at home and a huge thank you and well done to Mrs Strachan and Miss Cave with Mrs Campbell, Miss McLennan, Ms Ross and Mrs Stanton.
Thanks you very much for your kind donations to the Riverkids West Lothian Toy Appeal. Hannah and Louise, who had the original idea, sorted out and wrapped the gifts and they were delivered to the offices of Riverkids on Tuesday.
Tomorrow (Thursday) is school lunch day. Pupils will already have chosen their options of – Turkey, Steak Pie or Macaroni Cheese with a choice of pudding.
Pupils can still choose to bring in their own packed lunch that day but there is no sandwich choice available from the kitchen.
Remember to dress festive with your Christmas jumper – if you don’t have one to hand any festive clothes will work just as well – a Christmas Pyjama top, a Santa hat, tinsel around a colourful jumper or even sparkly deely-boppers for example.
