Breich received the most House Points in Term 4.
The children have decided on a Neon Themed Party. This will take place on Thursday 28th between break and lunch time. Children in Breich should come to school in their school uniform and bring bright coloured clothes to change into for the party.
We look forward to celebrating!
The weather forecast for this week is sunshine and high temperatures all week!
Please remember to apply sun cream to your child before coming to school, wear a hat to keep them protected and bring a filled water bottle.
Pumpherston community are twinned with Mtarfa in Malta. This week, Pumpherston welcome 50 guests from Malta for a week long visit. As part of their visit they will visit our school on Friday 29th June.
During their visit we will welcome our guests to a Scottish Assembly at 9:30-10:00am, which you are welcome to attend. Following the assembly, our guests will meet with some groups of children to discuss our school.
Please be reminded that children should wear their school uniform on Friday. P7s will take part in their traditional ‘shirt signing’ after the assembly.

Today we invited The NED Show along to PUSCPS. Â NED is a loveable cartoon character whose name is an acronym for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. Teachers love that NED is simple, relatable and kid-focused. The Assembly reminded us of our school values. Well done to Ewen, Caitlin and Sam who received a yo-yo for their participation. Thanks to Chad for coming along to present as part of The Ned Show.
We had our beach parties tonight organised by the parent partner group and staff. Thank you to everyone who helped out at and attended the event.
Today we had our second Celebration Assembly to celebrate all our achievements during Term 4.
Ruby and Meg, pupils from Broxburn Academy joined us to share with us about their achievements and their journey to achievement. They reinforced our school values and how it was important to preserve to achieve your dreams, although at times you might have set backs.
We had our Dojo Top Scorers for each of our houses – they received a gift voucher for WH Smith.
Each teacher nominated a child in their class for the Remarkable Reader Award for making progress in their reading.
They also nominated a child in their class for the STEM Superstar Award for making progress in Science, Technologies, Engineering and Maths.
We gave out Sumdog Awards for the recent West Lothian Sumdog Competition.

One child in each of our groups at P5 Camp was nominated for an achievement award.
Iona in P7 was nominated for an award for recently taking part in the Edinburgh Moonwalk and raising over £1000 for charity.
Congratulations to Breich who recieved the most Dojos in Term 4.

This morning our children have moved up to meet their new teachers. Parents/ carers will receive a groupcall email/ letter detailing their child/ children’s new class teacher.
At lunch time today our new Primary 1 families joined us to sample our lunch menu and find out what it was like to be in our dinner hall.
