New Year Assembly
Mr Povey joined us for our first assembly of the year. He reminded us that we should be grateful for each day and not just the new year. He also reminded to care for others, and sometimes it is okay not to feel okay but it important to tell others.
Congratulations to our Living Our Values children this week.
Our winning house this week was Calder.

Christmas Raffle Winners
This year our Parent Partner Group organised a range of exciting prizes for our raffle. In order to raise more money for school funds we had raffle tickets on sale throughout the month of December. On the last day of term Mrs Cougan, Mrs Bonnar, members of the Parent Partners, our house and vice captains drew the winners. Children at the school were issued with the prizes and those winners unknown to the school were contacted.
A big thank you to everyone who donated prizes and to everyone who bought a ticket. You can find out the winners below.

Visit from Almond Engineering and DYW
On Friday Michelle Quinn from Almond Enginnering joined us for our Celebration Assembly. Michelle shared her own personal journey of working hard at school, and then working her way up in Almond Engineering to become the first female Director.
Lauren from Developing the Young Workforce in West Lothian also joined Michelle. Before our assembly, they visited P3 to find out about their ‘Digital Me’ business plans and they were very impressed.
Michelle sent us the letter below, to say thank you, as she really enjoyed visiting our school.
We would like to thank both ladies for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit us.
