Thank you to those who have responded to our form already.Â
We are keen for our pupils to have opportunities to learn about a variety of skills and knowledge that may help encourage and inspire them to consider different options in the future.
During the year there are opportunities for class learning to link with occupations and skills for work. We would like to build a bank of volunteers to approach during the year to come in to talk to the children.
This could be class, group chats or running a workshop, whatever you feel comfortable with. If you would like to volunteer to talk about your job or skills please fill in the form below.
This can be shared with parents, carers and members of the community.

Maths Week Scotland Sumdog Contest
P1-7 can take part in the Maths Week Scotland Sumdog Competition, at school and at home. The competition starts on Friday 27th September and runs until 3rd October.

Families Learning Together
Primary 6 Endangered Planet
This week, Primary 6 turned into wildlife investigators!
In Science lessons, we have been discussing the words ‘extinct’ and ‘endangered’. Miss McLaughlin set us an investigation task to research ‘endangered’ animals. We could choose to show our information as a video clip or poster.
We structured our investigations around three themes:
- information about the animal
- what makes it endangered
- what the WWF are doing to try to stop this.
Miss McLaughlin combined our presentations into a wildlife ‘documentary’. She has added 5 dojos to everybody’s score for their hard work.

Magical Mediators Trip
Our P7 Magical Mediators took part in a special training event at Tynecastle in Edinburgh on Thursday. Â Schools from across Scotland came
together to enjoy a circus themed day and to brush up on their mediation skills. Â Mrs Ross and Mrs Bonner said our P7s were a credit to our school.
