It has been lovely catching up with parents and carers at our parent consultations this week. There was a great buzz across the school and lots of learning conversations.
A big thank you to our Primary 6 and 7 helpers for keeping the consultations running smoothly. We really appreciate them giving up their time to help us.
The book fair will be in school until Tuesday if you still would like to purchase a book. A percentage of profits made will enable the school to purchase new books.
One of our P7s even decided to make their own movie!

We had a fantastic turn out for our third Families Learning Together session last week. Families joined their children so they could share their learning in their jotters so far this term. They also had the opportunities to give two stars and a wish about their learning. Thank you to everyone who made it along.
Thank you to our P7 Young Leaders who helped out at this event.
WE Schools visited our P6s yesterday. The children took part in three workshops, debating issues such as climate change, bullying and hunger. The P6s were very respectful of each others’ opinions and Annie from WE Schools said they were a pleasure to work with. Well done P6!
On Tuesday night children and staff organised information workshops about our priorities in school this year. Thank you to our staff and children who organised the event and to those families who joined us.
Primary 2S had a very responsible job today! They had to go to the Scotmid post office to send the school’s pen pal letters to Magale school in Uganda. We hope to hear back from Magale school soon.
As we have been learning about food that is good for us in class, we decided to buy a healthy apple when we were there. We had this for an afternoon snack after our busy writing lesson.
