Be an Author – Book Week Scotland Competition

Last week we set all classes a free writing competition inviting them to create a piece of writing on any theme or in any style for Book Week Scotland.

Our house and vice captains had the difficult job of judging the competition this week.

P1-P4/3 created theirs on paper, and P4-7 uploaded theirs to Teams.

Congratulations to all our fabulous authors!

House Captain Election 2019-20

Primary 7 were given the opportunity to run for House and Vice Captains. They were set the following challenge and the children who did not want to apply, supported their Pumpie Pals peers.

On Friday we had the election and it was very competitive as the presentations were excellent. It was obvious that all the children but a lot of time, effort and thought into what they wanted to say.

A huge well done to everyone who took part!

Almond Pyjama Party – Wednesday!

Almond will have a Pyjama Party on Wednesday 26th June at 11am for winning the house points this term.

As we have the P7 Celebration Assembly in the morning children should BRING their PJs or party clothes to change into for the party.

Sorry for the short notice about the party but we wanted the children to enjoy their treat before the end of term.

Repost: Learning & Teaching at PUSCPS Event

A reminder, that we warmly invite you to come along and join us at our learning and teaching evening.

We often hear from our families, what does learning look like at PUSCPS and what are the school’s priorities.

Come along and find out from staff and children in an informal way what we have been focusing on this year!

We will even provide you with a wee tea or coffee. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday evening.

Those parent/ carers with an IDL invite will also be able to attend a workshop on this evening.
