Primary 1

It has been a busy week in P1.

In topic, we have been busy creating our own 3D aquariums using craft materials.  Our polar books now have a front cover and 2 information pages.

We had a digital learning visit from Three Mobile who showed us how to create our own cartoons using an app called Toontastic.  Everyone worked very well with their partners to create new characters.

Well done to Kiannah, Iona, Grace and Millie who presented their Marvellous Me boxes to their peers.  They were all super and beamed with confidence!

Primary 1 Digital Learning Week

Primary 1 had great fun this week preparing for Digital Learning Week.  We first decided which sea creature we were going to make and then used either paint or felt pens to create them.  When everything was ready we photographed our pictures using ‘Chatterpix’ and then brought them to life using the animation tool.

Easter Assembly

On the last day of term Mrs Cougan and our House and Vice Captains organised our Easter Assembly.  Mr Povey joined us to share the Easter message, as well as some of our families.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the assembly and to those families who could join us.

Spring Home Learning Task

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Spring Home Learning task. It was lovely to use the placemats and table decorations as part of our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. You can see some of the designs below.

Fun Time Friday

Today we had Fun Time Friday. Fun Time Friday is an opportunity for all our children to select an activity that they are interested in and take part in it with peers across different classes. We had a range of activities to choose from which the children brainstormed at Pumphie Pals last session.
