There is a great range of youth clubs open to children after school and at other times. These are run from Uphall Station Institute Hall but are open to children in Uphall Station & Pumpherston depending on spaces.

Primary 1
Primary 1 had great fun this week performing “A Wriggly Nativity”. Here is what some of the children said after the performance.
Sophie Rose: I was a bit nervous but excited!
Tyler: I loved bumping up and down to the camel song.
Layla: I enjoyed my Angel dance.
Ola: I liked picking up the baby and rocking him.
P4 Music with Miss Mulholland
Miss Mulholland has taught about beat, pitch and rhythm. We played games to help us learn these musical terms and we have just finished writing our very own Christmas song. We wrote the rhythm first using ta and te-te then we added pitches using so, la or mi. Finally we wrote the lyrics.

Electrical Investigations!
We have been doing more work with electrical circuits. We have been finding out what items will conduct electricity and what ones won’t.
We found out that metal items were the only things tested today that conducted electricity.
Well done P2/ 3 scientists!
Thank You – Riverkids West Lothian Toy Appeal
Thanks you very much for your kind donations to the Riverkids West Lothian Toy Appeal. Hannah and Louise, who had the original idea, sorted out and wrapped the gifts and they were delivered to the offices of Riverkids on Tuesday.
School Lunch Tomorrow
Tomorrow (Thursday) is school lunch day. Pupils will already have chosen their options of – Turkey, Steak Pie or Macaroni Cheese with a choice of pudding.
Pupils can still choose to bring in their own packed lunch that day but there is no sandwich choice available from the kitchen.
Remember to dress festive with your Christmas jumper – if you don’t have one to hand any festive clothes will work just as well – a Christmas Pyjama top, a Santa hat, tinsel around a colourful jumper or even sparkly deely-boppers for example.
Pumphie Pals – How can you find help if you have bullied?
As part of our focus this term on anti-bullying, Pumphie Pals groups asked themselves questions about bullying.
Here pupils from Almond 4, Breich 4 and Calder 4 considered “HOW CAN YOU FIND HELP IF YOU HAVE BULLIED SOMEONE?”
