Remembrance Events 2018
On Thursday 8th November, our P7 vice captains Jack, Kamila and Andrew accompanied Mrs Cougan to St.Michael’s church in Linlithgow for a special WW1 commemoration service. Lots of other schools, youth organisations, businesses and council members also attended. Our vice captains did an excellent job representing our school.
On Sunday 11th November, Kamila (vice captain), Lauren (house captain) and Callum (house captain) accompanied Mrs Cougan at the remembrance parade and service in Broxburn.  Callum proudly wore his great grand dad’s war medals, which were quite the talking point on the day. Again, our P7s were excellent. A huge thank you to their parents for allowing them to be a part of this special day.
Children In Need 2018
A reminder that this Friday is Children In Need day. We are still accepting unwanted books/toys/games for our bring and buy sale which will be held in the dining hall on Friday. Pupils will be given dojo points for each item they donate.
Pupils can bring a small amount of money on this day if they wish to buy something at the sale – all items at the sale will be priced at £1.
This Friday is also a dress-down day. Pupils can wear something spotty, yellow, CIN themed or casual for a small donation.
If you would like to donate some home-baking for our bring and buy sale, this would be greatly appreciated. Please provide a full ingredient list if you would like to donate in this way.
Thank you for your support – we are looking forward to raising money for this very worthy cause.
