One of our P4 pupils has been busy rehearsing for her part in Aladdin and this week she got to demonstrate her talents by performing on stage at the Regal in Bathgate!
Congratulations Layla! We are very proud of you!
As part of our enterprise topic we were looking at adverts and we discussed what features they used to persuade us to buy their product. From this we made up a list of success criteria our posters needed to have to enable us to sell our Christmas treats at the Christmas Fair. In grammar we looked at examples of alliteration and made up some examples of our own because we could see some adverts had used alliteration.
LI: To create a poster
SC: I can… have a bold title
I can… have a slogan
I can… use alliteration
I can… have eye catching pictures.
Have we met all of our success criteria?
A reminder that our tickets for Angel Express are on sale at the office.
Our P1s are performing and P2-3s singing in the performance.
Each child is entitled to 3 tickets per show, at a cost of £1 per ticket, which includes a tea/coffee and mince pie.

Our school choir was recorded today by Mr Anderson at West Lothian Council. They have been rehearsing with Mrs Cougan at lunch times, and I’m sure you will all agree that they sound fantastic. Well done everyone!
Today we had our third Fun Time Friday of the school year. Fun Time Friday is an opportunity for all our children to select an activity that they are interested in and take part in it with peers across different classes. We had a range of activities to choose from which the children brainstormed at Pumphie Pals last session.
Mr Povey joined us at assembly this morning to share the message of advent with us. Some of the children helped him to light the advent candles.
Our singing group, organised by Rebecca and Ceira in Primary 7, sang A Million Dreams.
