Primary 2

P2 have been learning all about nouns.

We are able to describe what a noun is  and were able to sort nouns into people, place and things. We then took part in a noun hunt to see how many nouns we could find in our reading book.

Primary 7 letter writing

LI – to learn how to write a formal letter.

SC – I can use correct layout, sign off, formal language and punctuation.

This week we have been learning how to write formal letters as we were writing to a local business to ask for their help with materials for a class project.  We all managed to write a good letter and made Mrs Andison very proud.  Come along to our Families Learning Together event and see for yourselves.

P7 Class Charter

In Primary 7 we decided on the signs of the  zodiac as our theme for our class charter. We then worked on the 3 agreed words Ready, Respectful and Safe to identify what they meant for us in class and in the playground.  Once we had agreed on our main points under these headings, we then linked these to the UN rights for the child.  All the pupils and adults have agreed to the charter.  We will try our best to stick to our class charter.

Primary 6

This year, it was agreed each class charter would be made up of the same three words: Ready, Respectful and Safe. Primary 6 brainstormed in teams to think about what each might look like in school (and some outwith). We then illustrated some of our ideas for our class display.

We chose a Disney theme and made individual characters to ‘sign’ our charter with.

Check in with us soon to see what we have been learning!

Until then…
