Internet Safety
S.C.
I can… identify what information should be kept private or shared online
I can… describe ways to keep myself safe online
Primary 5 worked in partners to list the positive and negative aspects of using the internet. They explored different scenarios in which peoples personal data had been made public. In pairs, P5 then listed ideas about ways in which they could prevent this from happening to them.
Each child considered their own social media and the way they use the internet. Individuals had to decide whether or not they were using it appropriately, safely and ensuring all information was private. Suggestions were made by these children and their peers about changes they could make to keep themselves safe on the internet.

Our new healthy tuck shop is up and running and has been proving very popular. Â This is free for every pupil every day to ensure that everyone has access to a healthy snack at playtime if they would like one. Â This initiative is funded from our participatory budget, where pupils suggested and voted on how a sum of money should be spent. The P6s are doing a great job managing our new enterprise.
