During the first two weeks of school, classes are focusing on building their class learning community. This is an opportunity for the children and staff to develop their relationships and get to know each other, therefore building a strong foundation for learning.
Some of the activities they will be completing are:
- Creating their class community contract
- Internet safety
- Exploring a school value to share at our values assembly
- Establishing routines
- Primary 1 and 7 have had buddy time
- Primary 7 are also preparing for the House Captain Election
- P2-7 children will also complete a spelling assessment.
The classes will blog on Friday about their Community Contract so that families are aware of the expectations in each class.
