Primary 3

Primary 3 are looking forward to an athletics session tomorrow with our P.E. specialist, Miss Pender. This is the first time they have been with her for gym  and are very much looking forward to it. We are hoping for some sunshine so we can go on the kick pitch!

Primary 3

A big thank you to all the primary 3 helpers who came along to the Health Open Evening to show the parents all the different fitness classes we can do with Cyber Coach. You were all great and the evening was a terrific success.  Everyone is having great fun today wearing their pyjamas to school. Primary 3 had a fashion show where all the boys and girls walked the catwalk  to show off their stylish bedtime wear!

Primary 3

This week our two new eco reps have been chosen who will represent the class in primary 4. Well done Hannah and Aaron! We have also began  our new topic, hot and cold lands. We have started researching the Arctic  and are discovering lots of interesting facts!

Eco Challenge

Our Eco Challenge in Primary 3 was to design the garden beside the dinner hall door. We measured the area then came back to class to draw our design of what we thought would work well in the area. We have also been trying hard to reduce the amount of paper in our blue bag. We have  even given someone a job in class to check that the paper in the bag has been used on both sides before it goes in!

Primary 3

Our class are very much looking forward to red nose day tomorrow.  Angel will be taking on the role of Head Teacher. Louisa and Aaron will be working in the office with Mrs Thom and Hayden will be on playground duty. Donatella is going to be the teacher in primary 3 and she is worried that Mrs Strachan is going to be a naughty pupil!

Primary 3

Primary 3 have been researching about the pyramids this week and have also been learning some Egyptian dance moves! All the boys and girls enjoyed taking part in World Maths day and playing the games on the laptops. Our class assembly is now organised for the 21st of March, so we have made our invitations to be sent home.

Primary 3

Primary 3  have been writing  descriptions of what their own personal Egyptian god would  look  like and do. Here is an example of what they have been  writing.

My god is called Tolkanic. He has four red and blue crowns, small pointy ears, 39 teeth and pure black eyes. He has a white skirt around his waist. His head is in the shape of a husky. Tolkanic can control the moon and fight of naughty thieves trying to steal children during the night.
