Jay and Samuel worked very hard to write Christmas Stories today. Both boys had a growth mindset and worked very hard to improve their work.
Winter Wreaths
The outdoor club have made a fantastic job of creating winter wreaths to take home for loved ones. The pupils in the club collected Willow branches, wove the branches into a ring and then used a variety of winter foliage to create their beautiful wreaths.
Singalong
Our nursery boys and girls have been working hard to learn Christmas songs for their Singalong on the 15th December. Some children were very excited to tell me that they had being doing their homework – singing the songs at home with an adult. Beautiful voices can be heard coming from the nursery and I am looking forward to hearing them on the 15th.

Responsible Learners
Primary 3 planned and prepared letters to send to our local garden centres to ask if they would be able to donate some bulbs for us to plant on the 10th December during our Tree Planting event. Maja and Matthew walked to the post office, bought stamps and posted the letters on behalf of their class. We hope to hear from the garden centres soon.
Hands Up Scotland Survey
Primary 6 conducted the Hands up Scotland Survey and Sean Wood in Primary 6 has compiled the results. Primary 6 noticed that driving to school is very popular which surprised them since we live in a small village. They urge you to think about how you are travelling to school and make changes if possible. This will help our environment as well as reducing the amount of traffic around our school. Please see below for Sean’s results.
P7 Prom
Last night we had our Primary 7 prom. We had the best time ever! Everyone was busting cool moves on the dance floor. It all started at Uphall Station Bowling Club when we hopped into the limo and blasted the music. Everyone was singing along to the music. As soon as we got to the school we all got out and got our pictures taken. Â After walking along the red carpet we got inside the school hall where we had our ceremony sharing our memories, performing our class song and celebrating our achievements by receiving our awards. We had a buffet and we danced the night away. Our prom was amazing!
Graduation
On Monday 20th June our nursery children participated in a graduation ceremony to prepare for moving into our Primary 1 classes next session. The children sat perfectly on the stage and loved singing songs and nursery rhymes to their parents/carers. They posed for pictures with their certificate and a book. Thank you to all parents/carers who came along to support their children.
