Last week, Primary 2 had a set of special challenges!
We received another letter from Mary Anning, asking us to rebuild a stegosaurus skeleton! We used salt dough bones we had made and the bones we were sent weeks ago to try to make a stegosaurus shape. Little did we know that finishing the skeleton meant a session of TIME TRAVEL! We travelled back to prehistoric times, where we received another letter and an egg-shaped parcel… from Stig the Stegosaurus!
Poor Stig had lost his mummy and needed us to build somewhere safe for his egg. We worked in groups to make nests and had to make sure they fit our steps to success.
They were:
*soft, warm and comfortable
*strong
*made from outside materials
Have a look at how we did below! Which nest is your favourite?
Check in with us to see what our next challenge is!
Until then…
