Writing
This week we have been finishing of our own comic strips. We had to peer assess them to ensure that they included captions, relevant pictures, speech and thought bubbles.
Reading
We are very close to the end of our class novel ‘Varjak Paw’. Everyone wrote a prediction for the ending of the book. Some of us have been very close so far!
Maths
In maths, we were all really interested to learn more about how time zones work. We used maps to help us estimate the times across the world. We worked out which countries celebrate New Year before and after us in the UK.
Lots of us moved up a CLIC level today.
HWB
We had a big focus on respect this week. Jammin’ Andy came in to teach us new dances and we now have a special ‘kindness cup’ in the class where we can leave kind messages for our classmates.
