Supertato Story

Hi everyone,

I have posted a video of me reading a wee story on YouTube. I’m very new to this so apologies for the shakey camera skills! I will also try to make sure I hold the camera landscape way next time.

For some reason it made me split it into 3 clips…

Part 1 – https://youtu.be/VpjNbGCOcJc

Part 2 – https://youtu.be/uzL0inlP35k

Part 3 – https://youtu.be/xiYstfBW79Y

Hope you can access these OK and enjoy the story. Miss Hewit x

P1 Active Learn and Education City

Dear P1 Parents,

I will be giving you all a phone over the course of the next few days just to see how the children are getting on. When I call you, I will be giving you your child’s log in details to the following websites…

Active Learn – a website which will give your child access to a huge range of online reading books

Education City – a website with a huge range of games and activities across the curriculum

Below are instructions on how to use the websites. Both are really simple and I’m sure the children will enjoy using them.

Instructions for Active Learn and Education City

Remember – our school email address is:

wlourladyoflourdes-ps@westlothian.org.uk

if you have any photographs of pieces of work or anything else you would like to send in to us. We would love to see what the children have been up to!

Take care and I look forward to checking in with you all.

Hello Primary 3 from baby Luna!

Hi Primary 3!

I hope you are all staying safe and enjoying your time at home with your families! I know I am!

Since I last saw you all there has been a lot happening, I now have 2 teeth at the bottom and I am enjoying trying lots of new foods that I can chew – right now my favourite is mince and potatoes!

I have also learned how to run around in my walker – it’s so much fun trying to catch my big brother!

The lady came to weigh me recently and I am now 21 pounds! I’m getting very heavy for my mum and dad now.

I still haven’t quite mastered how to say mum yet but I have learned how to clap my hands and hopefully next time I see you all you can sing “if you’re happy and you know it” and I can show you!

I miss you all and hope to see you soon!

Lots of love,

Baby Luna xx
