Primary 2/1 have had a great week. We have celebrated Book Week Scotland by listening to Brenda is a Sheep then designing a jumper with repeating patterns for Brenda. We listened to Goldilock’s and the Three Bears and sequenced the story. We went into role and acted out the story and were really good at putting on the voices of mummy, daddy and baby bear! In maths we are using numicon, cubes and counters to add two numbers within 10/20.
Hi everyone, this week in P6 our favourite things have been:
“Our STEM activity – Working out how to building a catapult from a picture, testing our catapults and then writing our instructions” Bruce
“Reading from our class novel Wonder” Bea
” Choosing our favourite book character and drawing a picture for our school competition” Arlo
“Find out about angles by drawing on our desks!” Ruby
Good Afternoon,
Please find attached the homework plan for this week.
It’s Book Week Scotland and Primary 1 pupils will receive their Bookbug bags and Primary 2 their Read, Write, Count bags. The bags contain fantastic books and some other resources to encourage a love of reading, writing and counting.
This week we will be doing an exciting range of activities with the books to celebrate Book Week Scotland and the bags will come home with your child on Friday.
Thank you,
Mrs Taylor
This week on P3/2 we have been exploring Diwali. We have listened to the story of Rama and Sita and coloured Diya lamps. We looked at the different customs and traditions and we designed our Mendhi hands. In topic we have been researching the Understory of the rainforests; we have begun to design posters to report back on our findings.
Hi,
Please find attached below the Home Learning grids for Primary 1 and 2.
Many thanks,
