Learning French with Hannah

This week Hannah a languages student from St Andrews University, has been in nursery working with the children introducing them to French through rhymes and songs.  The children have been counting in French and learning colours in French. Learning to singing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes  in French (also known as Tete, Epaules, Genoux et Pieds)was fun and very popular with the children.   Next term we plan to continue our French topic and develop our international links by linking with a school in Cran Gevrier, France as the town of Bathgate has been twinned with Cran Gevrier since 2010.
