Book Fair

As is the tradition in St Joseph’s Primary, the Book Fair will be visiting the school between 19th and  22nd of October.  Children will have an opportunity to visit with their class during the day and see what items there are on offer.  Your child will be able to reserve a book and payment can then be sent to the school.

The Book Fair will be open for parents to visit during parent evening on Thursday the 21st of March.

Thank you for your continued support.

P6/7 Class Assembly and Conversation Cafe

Primary 6/7 invite you to attend their class assembly on Friday 15th February at 9.15 in the school hall.

The first of our “Conversation Cafes” will take place before the P6/7 assembly (8.45 – 9.15) on Friday morning. Join us for tea or coffee and find out about the recent film Resilience, which was shown here and in the other local schools during the past few weeks.

Resilience – Another chance to see!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Community showing of Resilience. If you were unable to attend you would be more than welcome to go to one of our local schools who are also showing the film. Some of the comments that were left last night included:

“Amazing work being done in St Joseph’s”

“I was totally unaware that all this work was going on”

“…open evenings in other schools with the movie to increase awareness”

Look out for further information on our “Conversation Cafes” coming soon.

Eco Garden Club

Meet the Eco Garden Club. Planning and organising projects. Teams wanting to make a difference. Some seeds were planted and what a difference a week makes.

Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who have volunteered to help out in the garden. I will be in touch very soon. There is still the opportunity to volunteer, just return the letter,  send in a note or email the school office with your contact details.
