Stay and Play November
Thank you to all our lovely parents that came along to our November Stay and Play, we hope you all enjoyed exploring what a day in the nursery is like for all your little ones.
This week in P7/6
This week in class we:
– discussed and applied addition strategies in maths,
– learned how to classify invertebrates in science,
– wrote a fact-file on the Clydebank Blitz during World War II,
– built bridges as part of a Halloween STEM challenge, and
– led our school All Saints Day Mass.

Hooray! Lego Club is back!
Everyone enjoyed their 1st session back at Lego Club. They worked incredibly well in their roles as Engineer, Supplier and Builder to finally complete the model moped. They are working on becoming experts in the 3 roles, in order to train other children who will get an invitation to join Lego Club in the New Year!

All Saints Mass

All Saints mass will be celebrated in the school today. It will take place in the school hall at 10.00am.

St.Joseph’s Nursery Pizzeria
The children loved making pizza today, discussing different toppings and talking about what they like to have for dinner at home. The pizza was a huge success at snack time, it was simply delicious. A big Thank you to our parents who have shared their recipes with us!
Halloween Disco.
A reminder that the Parent Group annual Halloween disco is tomorrow. Primaries 1-3 will be in the afternoon from 1.00pm-2.30pm. Parents are welcome to collect their child/ children to take them home and get them into their costumes, returning to school for 12.50pm. Alternatively, children can bring their costumes with them and change at school.
The Disco for the children in primaries 4-7 will be in the evening from 6.00pm-7.30pm. There will be a fee of £1 which children can pay at the door.

Splish splash splosh
The children loved exploring the outdoors area in the rain today, the children had a fantastic time counting how many times they could jump in the puddles!
Nursery Halloween Party
A huge thank you to all our St Joseph’s nursery boys and girls for coming along to our Halloween parties. It was a spooktacular day from pumpkin carving to ghost bowling and potion making! All the costumes were fantastic!
