Information from West Lothian Council
Information from West Lothian Council regarding school closures
We note today’s announcement by the First Minister regarding schools closing to pupils from Monday 23 March. We are awaiting further details from the Scottish Government, and will confirm details with pupils and parents/carers as soon as we can. Extensive preparations have already been made for this situation and we will work to maintain learning and to support students at this difficult time.

Titanic Topic – Parental Engagement Session
P5.4 and P6.5 are excited to start a new cross-curricular topic all about the Titanic and we need your help! We are holding a parental engagement session on Friday 13th March from 09:15am – 10:00am. This will be a collaborative working session with teachers, parents and pupils to brainstorm, share ideas and shape the planning for our new topic.
If you cannot attend, we would still value your input and will send home a brief form to capture any of your ideas and suggestions.
Thanks for your support,
Mrs Strain & Mrs Thomson

World Book Day – Images
World Book Day
Good afternoon.
Please note a correction to the letter regarding the World Book Day event, in school on Thursday 5th March, that went home today with the children. It should read 2020 and not 2019.
Apologies for any confusion.
