We found Zippity in the reading corner today playing one of our literacy games with ACE bear!
Zippity’s Important Letter!
Zippity had a very important letter for us today from Santa!
Santa’s letter explained the Jolly Postman had delivered our letters carefully and Zippity had spent the weekend at the North Pole in the workshop! We loved our letter from Santa!
Homework P2/1 – Week Beginning 14th December 2020
There will be no homework posted on the school blog for Primary 2/1 this week as it is the last week of term. Please feel free to complete tasks on Seesaw although this is not compulsory.

This great girl was a super friend today and helped someone up when they had fallen in the playground. Well done!
Primary 2/1 Star Writers
These two super boys wrote fantastic recounts of the Nativity story. They included lots of detail and wrote in their own words. Well done boys!
This week in P1…
We have been learning:
- the ‘h’ sound
- Subtraction facts
- Identifying medicines and safety with medicine
- 2nd week of Advent
We have also been completing beautiful Christmas craft which the children will be able to purchase (please check school bags for letters containing more information).
Please note due to next week being the final week of term, there will be no set homework however children can continue to log onto Seesaw and explore if they wish to do so! It has been fantastic to see all their amazing work on Seesaw this week!
It has been another busy week filled with amazing learning and lots of Christmas fun!

Zippity the Flying Elf
Zippity had made himself some wings today and got stuck when flying round our classroom! He was so impressed with our kind words yesterday and challenged P1 to carrying out a kind deed today for their friends! Again we managed this no problem! Great work P1!
Santa Letter Writing in P1!
Today P1 wrote special letters to Santa! We sprinkled the Santa postbox with magic dust for the Jolly Postman to collect our letters to take to Santa! We were so excited to use the magic postbox!
P1 Star Writer!
Our Star Writer in P1 this week is this Superstar! After listening to The Jolly Christmas Postman this week, P1 wrote letters to Santa! Our star used finger spaces between his words independently! Great work!

- to make Christmas gifts to share with someone special
