Which is your favourite?
For the safety of our children, no parents should be in the playgrounds at any time.
Thank you for you for your continued support in this matter.

Well what a great time was had by all! Aladdin banished the wicked sorcerer, freed the genie of the lamb, saved the princess and lived happily ever after. The children booed and hissed at the baddies and cheered and laughed at the goodies . There was a little ” he’s behind you ” and a few ” oh no he didn’t ” thrown in for good measure.

This week we have been using ‘Magpie Moments’ during numeracy to support our learning!
We have been answering long multiplication questions on our whiteboards and using Magpie Moments to check our answers with other people.
The children must find someone else in the class with a different answer than them, to the same question. Each child takes it in turns to explain their thinking, reasoning and strategies and explain why they are correct.
We have had a lot of fun using this method of peer assessment and the children have learned a lot from each other by talking about their strategies together!
