Anderson Shelter Homework Project
Take a look at our amazing Anderson air-read shelters!
As part of our Second World War topic, Primary 7 were assigned a seven-week homework project to research, design and create an Anderson air-raid shelter. As you can see, the shelters have been a great success. Next week the children will test their shelters in order to evaluate their designs.
A huge thank you to all the family members who helped their children create these air-raid shelters. The pupils are so proud of their work and it really makes a difference when parents are so involved!

The Tower of London
I’m sure we have a few tired Primary 7’s this morning after a fun filled few days in London. Hope you all had a great time!
London Trip
The P7 pupils returned safely from the London Trip last night. Â They had a fantastic time visiting the London Eye, Madame Tussaud’s, Harry Potter Studios and The Tower of London. Â They had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and attended the West End performance of Matilda.
How many sweets in the jar?
Primary 7 are currently fundraising to buy Leavers school hoodies. They will go around the classes each day with this jar of sweets for pupils who want to try and guess how many there are. 20p a guess! The person who guesses closest to the amount will win the jar at the end of this month. Good luck! 1…2…3…
