P5 Bake Sale – Friday 25th May!

As part of our school wide project on the Corporal Works of Mercy, our P5 classes have been learning about homelessness over the last few weeks. We have decided to turn our learning into action by raising money to support a homeless charity. We will be holding a bake sale on Friday 25th May. All classes will have an opportunity to come along and buy some of our tasty treats on the day. All the money raised will be donated to the children’s chosen charity, Shelter.

Rannoch Group – Canoeing

Our group learned a lot from our fantastic canoeing activity this afternoon with Beth. We learned to work together, to row and steer a canoe, to hold canoes together to keep them steady, how to keep the canoe steady and make sure we didn’t fall in, as well as learning new skills for how to get water out of our wellies without taking them off! As part of our activity we had fun fishing rubber ducks from the water and trying to steal each other’s ducks from our canoes. We even threw stones in the water and waded in to have a splash around. Beth was great and taught us lots of new things.
