Well done to Karol and Charlotte. They wrote excellent stories about what they want to be when they grow up. A footballer and a dance teacher 🙂

Our group learned a lot from our fantastic canoeing activity this afternoon with Beth. We learned to work together, to row and steer a canoe, to hold canoes together to keep them steady, how to keep the canoe steady and make sure we didn’t fall in, as well as learning new skills for how to get water out of our wellies without taking them off! As part of our activity we had fun fishing rubber ducks from the water and trying to steal each other’s ducks from our canoes. We even threw stones in the water and waded in to have a splash around. Beth was great and taught us lots of new things.
It was a fantastic team effort from P6 in today’s crate climbing challenge. The pairs had 10 mins to build their tower as high as possible. Other team members were delivering crates on the crane whilst others manned the safety ropes. It was great fun!
Before the Easter break P7M and P7D went to Glasgow.
As we had been reading Divided City and learning about Sectarianism we decided to visit St Mungo’s museum to take part in a sectarian workshop, an open top bus tour to learn more about the history of Glasgow and to visit places mentioned in the book.
On the way home, we took a detour to Celtic Park where the Old Firm game in the novel is set. We had a tour of the stadium which included sitting pitch side and getting to visit the home dressing room.
We all had a great day!
