Hi P3,

Next week is Anti-Bullying Week.
We are starting off the week by taking part in Odd Socks Day on Monday 16th November.
We’d love to see everyone wearing odd socks to help us celebrate what makes everyone unique and special.
It will be the perfect start to a week full of anti-bullying activities and we can’t wait to see everyone’s fun socks!
Thank you to everyone who has previously supported the Eco Committee in their ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ School Clothing.
Below is a link to the items that are currently available – thank you

Primary 2 have lots of exciting things to look forward to this term. Take a look at our plan to see what we will be learning.
It seems impossible to think that we’re already in term 2 – but here we are. Primary 4 have been working so hard and I am very proud of their motivation and enthusiasm – I can’t wait to see how they learn and evolve this term.
What a busy week we have had in Primary one!
P1 have learnt about the letter e and f this week, look at our fantastic literacy art! We also looked at different coins and discussed what we use money for. We had great fun in our Toy Shop this week, picking toys to sell and all having a go at being the shopkeeper.
The children will have come home with their Sumdog logins today. This is an online resource that focuses on the children’s numeracy skills and will be used in class as well as for their homework. We are just looking for you to familiarise yourself and the children with the resource at the moment and have a go at the activities! We will be uploading tasks for the children to complete in the coming weeks onto Sumdog.
The phonics work is also on the Sway this week as well as a new sharing our learning grid so you can see what we will be working on this term.
Also, Miss Gormans PE day has changed this term- the children will be participating in PE on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mrs Howleys class will stay the same (Monday and Thursday).
Enjoy your weekend and see you Monday!

Since coming back in August the children have all worked so hard in all areas of their learning and I know this will continue for the rest of 2020. As we were discussing our reading for at home today neither the children our myself could believe how many weeks it is till Christmas! Please find here What I will be learning in Term 2 .
Everyone have a lovely weekend.
Well I cannot believe that we are already in November and the speed at which Christmas is approaching while the weeks disappear is scaring me a little!
The children however, do not seem phased and are all working their socks off having made a fantastic start to the work that we are focusing on this term already. 🙂
For example they have already written fabulous persuasive pieces of writing and they have all been providing detailed answers to calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
I am sure they will continue to work hard for the remaining time in term two and we are lucky this term that we have Miss Thorpe working with us, allowing the children to have double input.
Here is an overview of what term two will look like in P7.
Stay safe
Mrs Hunter 🙂

Wow, well here we are again – already! – to share what we will be up to this term.
I am so proud of all the hard work the children of Primary 6 have did so far and continue to do everyday. We have already got stuck into some of this learning and I’m sure the hard work will keep going through to Christmas.
