P2/3 STEM 19/05/20

Good afternoon P2/3. Here are a few activities for you to try out this afternoon.

First up is a bit of research. Using whatever device you have, I want you to find out about pollution in the sea and what effects it can have on the sea creatures.

Next is a couple of fun little experiments that will get you thinking about the salt water that is the sea:

P2/3 Literacy 19/05/20

I hope you have had a wee rest after this morning’s workout with Joe, and are ready to begin our literacy tasks. I have attached a non-fiction (who can remember what this means?) comprehension task for you to have a go at, related to our new mini-topic “The Sea” which was another one chosen by you.If you feel like a bit of a challenge, why not try the next group’s activity.

Happy Friday everyone! It’s almost the weekend again and I am looking forward to spending some time out in my garden with Holly. I hope you all manage to do something fun over the weekend.

To finish off our learning this week, I would like you to have a look through this The Eightfold Path PowerPoint and then try to create a poster about one one the paths to show what it means and how we can try to achieve it.

This morning, i am setting you a challenge that you can complete on your your or with your family.

Can you build a den?Β Let your imagination take control, itΒ  could be a tent, an igloo or a fort. If you have a torch, don’t forget to make some animal shadows too!

We have already looked at the colours so I am going to ask you to draw some things using the French colours.
