It was a short week this week for us in Balbardie as we all enjoyed our long holiday weekend.
We have been busy in class learning more about shapes and even more sounds – we even used the blending mats this week to start building words.
Here are the bits of our learning that we think have been the most fun this week:
Kashem – “I liked building our number towers”
Cody – “I liked creating our story using the story mountain”
Reese – “Making our shapes with spaghetti and marshmallows was the most fun”
Kyle – “I liked making 3D shapes too. I made a cube”
Rosie – “I liked writing the stories because I used my imagination”
Freyja – “Music was lots of fun. My favourite song was ‘Stop Little Monkey'”
Emily – “My favourite was music with Mrs Mansfield. I liked all of the songs”
Liam – “The songs were fun to learn. I liked the silly bit when me and Kashem were dancing silly”
