Primary 1b Blog – Week Beginning 24.9.18

We have had another lovely week this week, with lots of responsible learning going on in P1b.

Here are our highlights:

Emily – “I liked the cake day.  I got cakes from the shops and people will buy them to raise money for charity”

Kashem – “In school I like doing the jobs.  I like the drawing table”

Niamh – “I like the fishing game.  I can sort my shapes”

Liam – “I was playing in role play, it was fun”

Damon – “I like it when we have sand”

Finlay – “I like the sand too”

Rosie – “My favourite is art.  I liked making the snail this week”

Kyle – “I really like drawing too.  I practise my sounds at writing table”

Reese – “I liked the messy area.  I liked experimenting adding tissue to a cup of water, the water starts to get coloured”

Freyja – “I liked counting the beads onto the mouse tail”

Abbie – “I liked it when we were painting at the messy area”

Danniella – “I liked doing the messy jobs in our maths.  We were writing numbers in gluck”

Poppy – “My favourite was when we were playing the mice game”

Jack – “I liked looking for shells in the sand.  I could see a ‘m’ and a ‘c’.

Mason – “I like the sand because it is nice and soft”

Jacob – “I like writing area because it makes me happy”

Ellie – “Playing with the fish and putting them in the right tank with my friends was the best bit”

Ivy – “I liked it when I was colouring in.  I am getting better”

Isaac – “Playing with my friends is lots of fun”

Cody – “I like the number mouse”

Lylah – “The colouring in has been my favourite job this week”

Sarah – “I really liked playing with my buddy”

(A note from Mrs Mansfield – a couple of parents have asked me about homework this week.  Inside the homework pack there is a grid explaining which sounds we have covered.  Please ensure your child can identify and say these sounds.  The jotter is just in case your child wants to practise writing these – which would be really beneficial.  If you have any other questions, please ask)
