P3e

We have been very busy this week in primary 3. We have continuing out talk about our community and we have been looking at our school community. We discussed our role in the community and how we should act when we are in school. We imagined what it would be like if there were no rules in schools and we thought that school could be dangerous and we would find it difficult to learn. We also discussed the roles of the staff and school and we wanted to find out more about the different jobs people did. We decided to interview people in school. We asked Miss Henderson, Mrs White and other staff about their jobs. We are going to share our information with primary one next week to help them learn more about the school. We really enjoyed interviewing the staff and taking their photo!

In art we were learning about drawing using line and shapes. We had to imagine what the classroom would look like at bird’s eye view. We now know that this means what the classroom would look like from above.

  1. Hi Primary 3e,

What a great way to think about rules in school and what it would be like if we didn’t have any. I agree that it helps to keep us safe and learn as much as we can when we have sensible rules. I really enjoyed being interviewed by you and answering your questions. I know that the Primary 1’s will find this very helpful. Congratulations to all of the winners this week.

    Have a lovely, long weekend.

    Miss Henderson
