There has been great excitment in P1l this week as on Monday we received a rather burned letter from a dragon going by the name of Dennis. Dennis asked us about a girl he had met in the woods talking about porridge and seeming to be rather upset. Very quickly we knew he was talking about Goldilocks and this week we have been working on lots of things relating to the story. Some of the things we have done are: painted pictures, made bear faces, made different sized chairs, sorted things according to size, written to Dennis and retold the story. Some of us have even seen evidence of Dennis including drips of what could only be dragon slime or scales. We are not sure if Dennis will come again but we all agree it would be good to have another visit from our friendly dragon.

I was very excited when Dennis delivered that magic beans to my office this week, but also a little bit scared when I saw him flying by my office window! I’m looking forward to hearing more about Dennis and what he gets up to.
