In Balbardie Primary School we are very committed to our numeracy and literacy targets. However, we manage to combine hard work with fun. And we can do both with great success!
This week, on Wednesday we had an amazing time planting flowers in the playground. We had everything we needed: gloves, shovels, soil, baby flowers and a lot of energy! Apart from learning by experiencing the planting process, we are now more interested in keeping the playground nice and tidy. After all, we put a lot of work each of us on it! And on Thursday, at the end of a swimming lesson, we had fun in the swimming pool using pool floats!

It sounds like you have had a very busy week. The new plants in the garden look fab. I’m going to visit next week to smell the curry plant! The fun swimming session sounds exciting and I’m glad you had a fun time.
