October 2020 – Discussion with Parent Council on the process of a change of hours and the need to seek permission to consult.
October 2020 – Newsletter item to indicate to families that school intends to seek permission from the Chief Education Officer for formal consultation.
December 2020 –Newsletter outlining the consultation process, whom and method of consultation.
December 2020 – Consultation with all parents and carers at Drymen Primary School via letter.
January 2021 – Consultation via questionnaire with all pupils in P4-P7 at Drymen Primary School and a class survey with pupils in P1-P3.
January 2021 – Focus group (P1-P7)
January 2021 – Meeting with Facilities Management around catering and cleaning services to discuss proposed changes and views.
January 2021– Meeting with Transport management to discuss proposed change and views.
January 2021 – Support Staff and Teaching Staff questionnaire and discussion group around proposed changes.
February 2021 – Parent/Carer focus group
February 2021 – Discussion with Learning Community Head Teachers around the proposed change.
February 2021 – Feedback of consultation survey with Parent Council
April 2021 – Summary of Consultation findings sent to Chief Education Officer.
