Christmas Post

Two cards have accidentally been delivered in the Woodpark Christmas Post! If parents and carers could please check their child’s bag for any cards containing gift cards we would really appreciate it. The cards can be handed in to the school office if found. Thank you for your help!

School Nativity

The school Nativity is on next Thursday (20/12) at 10am. Please ensure your child’s costume is sent into school by this Friday in a marked plastic bag if possible.

Nursery Nativities

The morning group Nativity is this Friday at 10:30am and afternoon group is at 2pm.  Please come along and join in the festivities!

Dress Down Day

A reminder that tomorrow (7/12) is a Dress Down Day.

Children should bring £1 to take part and the money raised will go to school funds for the children.

New website section!

The Active Literacy section of the school website is now fully up and running! From the home page you can select ‘Active Literacy’ and from there you can explore in depth the new reading and spelling programmes at Woodpark.

There is useful information on how to support your child at home, some useful resources, handy ‘how to’ videos and lots more. Please visit the new section and have a look – and we would welcome any feedback or ideas you may have to make it more helpful!

Dress Down Day

This Friday (5/10) will be a dress down day. Children taking part should bring £1 and this will go to things like bus costs for trips throughout the year.

Sun cream!

Please ensure your children are wearing lots of sun cream tomorrow and Wednesday! The Primary 1, 1/2 and 2 classes will be outside for a lot of tomorrow at their trip and the whole school will be outside for most of the day on Wednesday for Sports Day.

ParentPay reminder

A reminder that starting tomorrow (9/5) Woodpark Primary School will be launching the new ‘ParentPay’ system. This new system will make it much easier to make payments for things like school lunches as you can simply top up straight from your bank account.

We would urge all parents to sign up to ParentPay as soon as possible to make this a smooth transition. If you have not yet signed up, please follow the link below to get started. The white envelope sent home with your child last week will provide you with all the details of how to sign up and activate your account.

If you are having any difficulties signing up, please speak to the school office as soon as possible and we will be more than happy to help. If you are able to help any other parent or carer sign up we would be very appreciative!
