We are off to the Panto!

We are all so excited for our panto trip to Ravenscraig today! Buses will leave at 12.30pm sharp.  Thank you to our PTA for providing juice and a wee treat for everyone!

We expect to return at approximately 4.15pm. Please wait in the MUGA to collect your child as classes will be dismissed from their classroom doors – do not take your child directly from the bus please.

If there is a delay to the return time we will send out a message on the app and will update our phone voicemail.  The office will be unmanned so we cannot answer phone calls during the trip.

Thank you!

Christmas Lunch Reminder

A reminder that the Christmas Lunch takes place this Wednesday (14th).

If your child has not pre-ordered a Christmas Lunch, please make sure to send a packed lunch with them (or home lunch)!

Some important staffing news…

Dear Parents/Carers

I write to share with you that Mr French has been successfully seconded as Literacy Development Officer to South Lanarkshire Council.  This post will continue for up to 18 months.

It is anticipated that Mr French will take up this post after the Christmas break.  Miss Wood will be the P7 teacher for the remainder of this school session.

I am sure that you join with us in congratulating Mr French on his appointment and whilst he will be much missed at Woodpark, we wish him every success.

Yours sincerely,

Debbie MacKenna

Head Teacher
