There is a central application process for hubs managed by Education Resources. Eligibility criteria will be detailed in the application form. Application forms for Early Years and school aged children will go live via the council website and twitter this evening. A link to the form can be found below. The initial deadline for parental returns is 9am on Wed 25th March 2020. HQ will manage this process including notifying parents directly. Applications received thereafter will be allocated spaces on the basis of availability. https://forms.gle/jbYuYd5BLaBxE2uc7

Woodpark Primary School Emergency Childcare Provision  Childcare provision is offered as follows:  Category 1 – Health and Care workers directly supporting COVID response, and associated staff; Health and Care workers supporting life threatening emergency work, as well as critical primary and community care provision; Energy suppliers (small numbers identified as top priority already); staff providing childcare/learning for other category 1 staff. This also includes police, fire, ambulance and prison staff. The service must only be used by those staff whose children are well and in cases where no other childcare provision can be made.  Procedure – Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March 2020 (9am-3pm)
  1. Please use the google form from our school website – http://www.woodpark-pri.s- lanark.sch.uk This allows us to anticipate how many children we are likely to have and how we can attempt to implement social distancing measures.
  2. Bring your child to the main entrance at 9am. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure you have communicated the details for home time to a member of staff. There will be no access to the playground in the morning or at home time. Please take the necessary precautions of distancing yourself from others when you are dropping children off.
  3. Your child will be registered and directed accordingly.
  4. Please note that Monday and Tuesday are for childcare provision purposes rather than educational provision. However, children should bring their home learning packs with them.
  5. Children will be dismissed at 3pm from the main entrance
  6. Your child must not bring toys or objects from home.
  7. Your child is not required to wear school uniform.
We appreciate that this is a very challenging time for all, and life has been disrupted beyond measure. We would respectfully ask that parents pay attention to the fact that this service is currently ONLY for those category 1 workers who are providing front line service. For all other health and social care workers who do not yet qualify, please remember the authority are working on further plans and this information will be shared as and when we receive this via our school website and Twitter feed.  Free Meal Entitlement  If your child/children are entitled to a free school meal, and they are well, a lunch will be offered in the school dining hall betweeen12.30 – 1.30. Please contact the school before 9.30am to advise of attendance and to order.  Pupils should enter via the rear dining hall door. Children who are attending for their lunch are only allowed to have their lunch and then they must go back home – they will not be allowed to stay for any further school activity unless they fall into the above category of provision. Parent/carer of child attending for school lunch may also have a lunch if wished. We will continue to keep you updated via our website, school app and Twitter.
