Update
As of Thursday 26th March SLC will move to a Hub model and will operate 20 hubs across four geographical areas in SLC.
There is a central application process for hubs managed by Education Resources. Eligibility criteria will be detailed in the application form. Application forms for Early Years and school aged children will go live via the council website and twitter this evening. A link to the form can be found below. Hubs will be regarded as child care provision for key workers and will be managed and staffed by volunteers from within the localities. The initial deadline for parental returns is 9am on Wed 25th March 2020. HQ will manage this process including notifying parents directly. Applications received thereafter will be allocated spaces on the basis of availability. https://forms.gle/jbYuYd5BLaBxE2uc7

Category 1 – Health and Care workers directly supporting COVID response, and associated staff; Health and Care workers supporting life threatening emergency work, as well as critical primary and community care provision; Energy suppliers (small numbers identified as top priority already); staff providing childcare/learning for other category 1 staff. This also includes police, fire, ambulance and prison staff. The service must only be used by those staff whose children are well and in cases where no other childcare provision can be made.
Procedure – Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March 2020 (9am-3pm)
- Please use the google form from our school website – http://www.woodpark-pri.s- lanark.sch.uk This allows us to anticipate how many children we are likely to have and how we can attempt to implement social distancing measures.
- Bring your child to the main entrance at 9am. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure you have communicated the details for home time to a member of staff. There will be no access to the playground in the morning or at home time. Please take the necessary precautions of distancing yourself from others when you are dropping children off.
- Your child will be registered and directed accordingly.
- Please note that Monday and Tuesday are for childcare provision purposes rather than educational provision. However, children should bring their home learning packs with them.
- Children will be dismissed at 3pm from the main entrance.
- Your child must not bring toys or objects from home.
- Your child is not required to wear school uniform.
