Warmer Homes Scotland has extended its eligibility criteria to help more Scottish households.

The Scottish Government’s Warmer Homes Scotland programme is now open to help people in Scotland who are struggling with their energy bills.

Over 29,000 households have already benefitted since the programme launched, but eligibility criteria has now been extended further meaning an additional 110,000 households could now benefit.

Warmer Homes Scotland can help to fund a range of energy saving home improvements like new heating systems, wall and loft insulation, draught-proofing and even home renewables. After support from Warmer Homes Scotland, homes are on average 20% more energy efficient, with households making substantial savings on their energy bills.

To find out more call Home Energy Scotland on 0808 808 2282. They are open Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm or visit the Home Energy Scotland website.

SIP On a Page Draft

Our three main priorities for this session are:

  1. Curriculum re-design to better meet the needs of our learners
  2. Re-establish high quality Parental Engagement
  3. Embed high quality teacher professional learning across the school

In line with development alongside other SLC schools we are presenting a “Plan on a Page” as our public facing Improvement Plan. There is detailed planning behind this document and a copy of our full Improvement Plan can be obtained on request through our school office.

The work on our “Green Classroom” has begun

We were all very excited to see work starting on our Green Classroom. Children loved seeing the diggers and crane working making the site ready for creating our sensory garden that will provide us with a fantastic outdoor learning space

Diggers were unloaded!

We watched them out of the windows!

The team started to change the green space into our garden.

Watch this space for updates!
